Cardinals,

July 1 is here and that means we are officially into the 2021 – 2022 school year!  With the changing of school years, there comes some bits of information very important to all of our Cardinal families. We have school supply lists, academic, athletic & activity registrations, and back to school events coming up!

The new school supply lists will be released on Friday, July 2, 2021. They will be posted on our district Facebook page, website, and will also be available at some local vendors. The lists this year are slightly different than previous years, so please be sure to check them out!

We are also working to make sure our families returning to the Newton CSD get re-enrollments completed.  We will also be helping families throughout the summer to register their students who are new to us!  For re-enrollments, please go to the district website and click on the Infinite Campus Portal link. From there click on Campus Parent. If you do not know your user name or password, please call our Central Office staff at (641) 792-5809 (Option 1). For new families, please call the same number and we will set up a time to meet with you to get your students registered into the Newton Community School District.

Registration for 2021 – 2022 athletics will be open from July 5 – August 2, 2021. All athletes must be registered and a current sport physical uploaded to your account before the first official practice date for each sport.  The first official practice date for high school fall sports is August 9, 2021 and the date has not yet been released for the middle school. To get to theregistration link, visit https://newton-ar.rschooltoday.... There are directions on what you need to do in order for your student to participate in athletics as a Cardinal.

During a year that was full of unexpected twists and turns the Health and Safety Committee helped guide the Newton Community School District through the pandemic so that students and its members had the safest experience possible!
