Cardinals-
It’s hard to believe the year is almost over. When I wrote my last letter I was still getting my bearings as I transitioned back to a building level leadership role. I can say, without question, it continues to be an incredible opportunity. If you asked me to give you one reason why…the people. The students, staff, and families at Berg are amazing. The energy, excitement, and positivity of the students is contagious. The staff are welcoming, hard-working, and always willing to step in and help. The families are supportive and appreciative, while pushing us to do the best for our students. All of these groups show what Red Pride means. It makes me proud and thankful to serve such an amazing school.
While Berg is already an amazing school, we continue to look for opportunities to be even better. Several ways we plan to do this for next year include a new Master Schedule that better meets the developmental needs of our 5th and 6th graders, maximizing learning pods to meet the needs of students, focusing on effective praise for meeting expectations and more. There has never been a better time to be a Cardinal, especially at Berg Middle School.
