At Berg Middle School we continue to have high expectations for both students and staff. We are committed to finishing this school year strong!
The Iowa School Performance Profiles (ISASP) will be given to students April 9-12. This assessment is very important to each Berg Middle School student. As always, please be sure all students are present every day and on time.
The Berg Student Council is hosting our Annual Trivia Night Friday, April 5th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the BMS Commons. Sign-up forms can be found outside of Mr. Stewart's classroom. A maximum of 8 players per team and this year there is no entry fee! The winning team will walk away with $100! There will be prizes handed out each round and prizes for the best dressed! The theme of this year's Trivia Night is "A Night in Hollywood" so you can dress as your favorite movie or tv show! If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Stewart!
Berg Middle School will host a student Dodgeball Tournament on Friday, May 10th beginning at 6:00 pm with registration at 5:30. This will be held in both Berg gymnasiums. Eligibility requirements run April 1-30. The entry fee is $40.00 per team. This event is open to the public with our concession stand open for your convenience. Mr. Daryl Dotson, the new principal beginning next school year, and I, will be supervising the event. Come out and meet Mr. Dotson!
Any questions regarding these or other topics, please contact Berg Middle School at (641) 792-7741.
Best Regards,
Steve Seid, Principal

Learning how to make friends, share, take turns, as well as having fun with letters and numbers are just some of the things that you'll find our youngest learners engaged in during the day.
Full of energy and enthusiasm, Mrs. Verwers brings her passion for learning to Thomas Jefferson's 4th graders.
