Cardinals,
July is almost at its midway point and that means that we are quickly approaching the start of the 2023-2024 school year. There are many very important dates to get on your calendars as the new year approaches. We have registration, staff returning to school, new teacher training and orientation, back to school functions, and student activities.
Information about the school year can be found on our district website (www.newtoncsd.org), in the Red Pride Review, and district social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and we update these sources regularly with any additional information.
IMPORTANT DATES - upcoming events:
The Newton Community School District is thrilled to announce that we have yet another great group of new teachers joining our Cardinal family. The principals have been working hard to recruit our new class of staff members. If you have any questions about current openings and wish to become a part of our staff, please visit the school website (www.newtoncsd.org) for employment opportunities. Make sure to pay close attention to the upcoming editions of the Red Pride Review for more information on our newest additions to the staff!
If you have any questions about the upcoming school year or about our district, please reach out to our central office staff at (641) 792-5809 Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. We will get your questions answered. Again, we are excited to have your students back in school and are looking forward to working with our families and community members for another year.
Yours truly,
Tom Messinger
